- Mainly studied animals in controlled labs where environmental stimuli and behaviour can be examined.
- Contributed to a lab approach of studying mental process (created IV & DV).
Frederick Bartlett (1930) - Memory research concentrating on processes involving how we actively construct material rather than recall like a fading photo. (Remember meaningful material & events changing)
