In the current economic situation in the United States what do you project will happen to social mobility and the American Dream?. Sociology

To be honest I believe that the current economic situation in the United States will start declining when it comes down to social mobility and the American Dream. My reason is that we have three classes the lower class (poor), middle class (working), and high class (wealthy). All have the same thing in common, however each group is separated .

Because of income(wealth). It is like the lower class does not see their future getting any better, the middle class is working like slaves in order to put food on their tables and the wealthy just do not care about the other two groups. At this rate social mobility will become nonexistent. As far as the American dream I believe that many people have come over to the United States tracing the American dream and realize that their American dream is not what they thought it will be (freedom, glitz and glam). The American dream will become the thing of the past, many people will opt to stay in their own countries in order to receive a better living.
