From your perspective, what are the current shifts in global stratification? How does this affect the economic and political power of the United States?. Sociology

I believe that the current shifts in global stratification is in technology. Technology is fast reckless growing and each month there is a new device or new data coming out. We as individuals can see all types of things around the world through technology such as satellite communications (Snapchat, face time, or IMO) and the improvements with smartphones have allowed for improvement to education, information, and medicine. I believe that this affect the economic and political power of the United States in a great way because with the economic and political growing the United States have the power to control the air ways and the ability to tap in to any device.
