What specifically can be addressed and changed to change the negative aspects?. Earth & Marine Sciences

Education may be a way to change the negative aspects of this way of thinking because they can economic thinking. It would also help people to understand the interconnectedness of these systems. For example, a forest cut down for logging loses not only habitats for possibly rare species, but also increases the chances of mudslides that could affect humans and limit the amount of carbon sequestration that the forest could "accomplish".  To change this aspect, we would need to recognize the actual value of ecosystem services. Specifically, for their value that they contribute to human welfare. If these values would be acknowledged, then humans would begin to realize that these resources are truly indispensable and are obtained at a bargain price.
